Happy 4th of July, everyone! We hope you all have been enjoying this fun-filled weekend so far! With how busy life has been lately, one of our major goals for this summer, and this year in general, has been to get out and do more, including things we've never done before. These past few weeks have definitely been the start of that goal, with many exciting things coming our way. This has included a lot of eating (which we LOVE), reconnecting with childhood best friends, and venturing out to places and events that truly bring passion and excitement to our lives. We've been craving a lot of authentic Mexican eats, so what better place to start than with Mi Hogar! Can you say, "delicioso"?!

There was no better way to celebrate our father's birthday than with dinner at one of his favorite places (and ours, too!), The Cheesecake Factory. We're huge fans of the Chicken Bellagio :) If you haven't tried this, your taste buds are in for a treat! 

You can never go wrong with a cool pair of lace-up flats! They're chic and comfy at its finest! 

Last weekend, we went to one of the most exciting events that we've been looking forward to all Summer--Latin Fest! To say that we had fun is an understatement--we had a blast! We've always been drawn to everything that Latin culture has to offer...the music, food, dancing, and how everyone is always so excited and full of life. It's beautiful to see how proud everyone is of their culture, whether they're from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Panama, Columbia,  Mexico, etc. It's such an amazing thing to embrace. Not to mention, we were excited that we got to put our Bachata skills to work! The main act performing that night was bachata artist El Chaval de la Bachata. Once the music got started, there was no stopping us! We danced the night away and we also met some pretty cool people. It was like one huge party on the beach! Such a great way to spend a wonderful weekend!

Nothing makes these outings more enjoyable than with amazing friends! This summer, we've also been getting back in touch with some of our childhood best friends. The amazing thing is that no matter how much time goes by or how busy life may get, when we get back together, it's like we never missed a beat! One of our favorite things about Summer is hitting the beach, and all the exciting ventures that come with it. This night, not only did we spend the evening catching up on the beach, but we also went for drinks at a local bar & lounge and went for dinner at Bahama Breeze. We were having such a good time that we forgot to take selfies. We're definitely looking forward to more girls' nights like this :)
