Moto Chic

Hey everyone! I'm so glad to finally bring you guys another individual style post! The past month or so has been pretty busy for me. I had jury duty all of last month, and  on top of that, the weather has been so crazy with all of the snow and rain that we've been experiencing. This week is actually the first time in a while that we've had some good weather. Although Spring is right around the corner (and believe me I'm so ready for it) it's still pretty chilly out--which makes it the perfect time to rock this look!

I felt like channeling something Spring-like, but at the same time something that would keep me warm, and this look was the first thing that popped into my mind. I decided to go with this chic skater skirt, a white cami, and black tights for a fun and flirty appeal. Skater skirts have actually become one of my newest obsessions. Not only are they super cute and flirtatious, but they also put me in the spirit for this upcoming season. In addition, a pair of tights are always great for those days when it's a bit on the cooler side. You can never go wrong with a sleek pair of booties, and I couldn't resist wearing these with this look. When it comes to style I'm all about great details, and the studding on this pair are amazing! They give them the perfect mix of edge and sassiness.

One of my favorite pieces about this outfit is this oxblood moto jacket. I actually received this as a gift this past Christmas. Not only does it give an urban-cool vibe, but it's also super versatile! The front is designed so it can be folded and zipped in two different ways. Also, the sleeves are made so you can wear them fitted or loose. This jacket complements the boots quite well and it's unique color gives this look the perfect accent. I love that I didn't need to wear many accessories with this look because the zippers and buttons on this jacket actually do the job. For the finishing touch, I went with this silver-plated clutch. The great thing about this clutch is that it comes with a hiddent strap so you can also carry it as a purse. In addition, the plates do an awesome job of picking up the silver detailing in the rest of my look. I didn't realize until I was done styling this outfit that I created something so moto-chic! I guess with all of the zippers, plates, and studs it was bound to happen--and I love it! It's amazing how things fall into place when you just go with the flow :)

                                                         xoxo,
