Hello, October! With the new month finally here, I was inspired by one of the various things that October brings--its gorgeous colors! From mustard and orange, all the way to reds, blues, and even neutrals, these colors truly capture my heart. As you all may know, one of my and Channy's favorite colors this time of year is oxblood--so sexy and sophisticated! With temps being moderate as of lately, I wanted to go for this v-neck oxblood cropped sweater. Many of you have probably seen this piece a time or two in my previous posts, but I wanted to pair it with something a little different--high-waisted shorted and tights. Now I know that we have said our goodbyes to Summer, but who says you can't bring it into the new season?--Nobody! Fashion is all about breaking the rules, right? By adding in the tights, I felt that this would give it a bit of a Fall edge. I wanted to take it a step further by layering over a pair of comfy socks and my favorite lace-up booties! To be honest, these are just a regular pair of white socks, but by giving them a little bit of a scrunch, you can get an effortless comfy-cool look--and styled with these booties are definitely rugged-chic! To top everything off, I decided to rock this sassy foxtail necklace! But I have a confession, guys...if you remember our "Vinca USA Jewelry" post we wrote earlier this year, I showed you all a trendy little fox necklace...and that's the piece that I'm wearing in this post! All I did was wear the necklace in reverse so that the tail was showing instead--kinda cool, isn't it? All in all, I had fun putting together such a cozy-chic outfit. Not only do you get the extra comfort and warmth, but you also get the stylish, sassy factors that come along with it! Such a perfect look for weather that's in-between! How do you guys get cozy and cool? 

Now that Fall has finally arrived, it seems like everything around me is beginning to put me in the spirit of things--the leaves changing colors and gracing the ground, the cooler temps (thank goodness!), the sun setting earlier and earlier--it's all so inspiring! This really put me in the mood for another transitional look, and the very first thing that popped into my mind was neutrals--so perfect for the season upon us. I wanted to go for something comfortable, yet stylish at the same time, and this relaxed-cool outfit was a winner! For the chill, relaxed part of my look, I went for this neutral t-shirt. I actually bought this shirt when I went to New Jersey/New York this past Summer, and when I saw it I immediately fell in love. Not only am I really starting to get into stripes, but I love how these have an aztec-like look to them. And you can never go wrong with black and cream for this season. My favorite thing about this top is its cuffed sleeves and high-low hemline--such a cool way to play things up! I decided to add in this geometric statement necklace (oh, how I love statement jewelry) and diamond-studded bangle bracelet for some extra luxe appeal and to play up the pattern of the shirt. For the cool and edgy part of my look, I couldn't resist this pair of cuffed olive skinny jeans and oxfords. You all may have seen these pants on my post, "Olive Springtime". I love how this pair adds the perfect pop of color and acts a neutral at the same time. These oxfords are an amazing transitional piece to this Fall-chic look. The cute cut-outs allow you to hold on to those last bits of warm weather while the coverage at the toes keep you warm on those days when the weather is a little in-between. For a fun and flirty touch, I added this chic 2-in-1 bag. Not only can you carry it as a clutch like I did here, but this bag comes with a hidden strap so you can carry it as a cute crossbody--how amazing is that?! And to seal the deal, I went for a sassy red lip. I must say that this is one cool transitional look that I just can't get enough of! What are some of your transitional looks for this time of year?

Hello, September! With the last few days of Summer upon us, you know what that means...colder weather is just around the corner! But that doesn't mean you have to start pulling out the sweaters and parkas just yet. Transitional pieces are definitely the right pick when you're going from Summer to Fall, and I've been all about them lately. I love how they give the perfect mix of the last taste of warm weather and the excitement of bringing in a new season. While helping my mom go through her closet a few weeks ago, I came across this amazing vintage cargo vest--and I was super excited when she said I could have it! You guys can only imagine all of the style options that were going through my head. Although vests can sometimes give off cold weather vibes, I knew I still wanted to take advantage of the last bit of Summer, so I went for this rugged-chic look!

I love a good vintage piece, especially one in a bold color like this, so I figured I would take it a step further and give it a modern twist. This vest includes drawstring detailing right above the pockets, so I pulled and knotted the ends to create a peplum for a feminine edge--how cool is that?! In addition, the sleeveless design gives you the convenience of still enjoying the warm weather or layering it over a long-sleeve top for when Fall makes its grand entrance. I opted for a white cami paired with dark, cuffed skinny jeans to let the color of my vest pop. For an edgy, luxe appeal, I added in my gold bracelets and this gold and leather cuff. It's funny because I didn't realize until after this look was complete that this cuff channels the colors of the buttons in my vest! As I mentioned before, it's amazing how perfectly everything falls into place when you just let go and go with the flow. For the finishing touch, I went for these sleek white heels--who says you can't wear white after Labor Day, anyway? Overall, this look is definitely one that I'll be going for again in the weeks ahead. It's tough, edgy, and sexy all rolled into one! Who knew that a single transitional piece could allow you to create so many different looks :)

Hello, beauties! With September finally here, Summer will soon be making its exit. But before saying goodbye to this gorgeous season, I figured why not give you all a little bit more Summer goodness! A few weeks ago, my sister and I were helping our mother clean and rearrange her wardrobe, and we came across these vintage high-waisted acid-wash jeans. Once she let us try them on, I knew I couldn't let these babies go! I've always wanted a cute pair of acid-wash jeans, and the fact that they're vintage is priceless! One thing that I absolutely adore about this pair is the light wash--so perfect for Summer. Not to mention, these jeans definitely give off that cool, laid-back '90's vibe that I absolutely love! To give them a bit of an edge, I went with a messy cuff. One trend that I have fallen in love with this summer is white, so I decided to go for a clean and simple white cami. The awesome thing about white is that it acts as your own little blank canvas. Add anything you want to it and your look will pop! I truly adore a white and gold combination, so I paired these gold bracelets and cuff with my cami. This color combo has always screamed "sexy", "sophisticated", and even "goddess" to me, and I love it! Finally, this look would not be complete without these chic wooden sandals and a bold red lip (you guys know I had to throw in that extra sass). Since Fall is on its way, this look can definitely be transitional. Just throw on your favorite cardigan or cover-up and switch out these sandals for a pair of chic booties, and voilà! Hope you guys love this look as much as I do!

Hey, guys! So we recently just came back from vacationing in New Jersey and New York to see our brother, and we gotta say that it was absolutely AMAZING! This is actually our 2nd time visiting here, and each time it gets better and better! Honestly, New York is very dear to our hearts. Not only is this the place where we want to live and make all of our fashion dreams come true, but we love the city's diversity, the upbeat atmosphere, and the fact that there is ALWAYS something to do! Whenever we come here it's like a breathe of fresh air (figuratively speaking, of course haha)...we feel so alive. For those of you who have been here before, we're pretty sure you know that New York is huge and you will never see everything in just one trip. Needless to say, we visited a lot of cool places, including Carteret Waterfront Park (New Jersey), one of the buildings where our brother used to work, Grand Central Station, the United Nations headquarters, and one of our favorites...the Fashion District! We also rode the subway for the very first time and we must say that it was a pretty cool experience--all of this while looking awesomely chic along the way! But enough of our talking...we'll let our photos speak for themselves :)
