Hey everyone! When I woke up, the rain was pouring. This influenced me to go for a chill/laid-back look, while still keeping my girly flare. One of the first things that stood out to me was this tank top. I love a good graphic! Since it was raining, this tank top definitely set the tone. In addition, the ruffles at the bottom brought out my girly side, which I absolutely adore. Although this outfit can go great with sandals (especially to give more of a girly appeal), I decided to keep it laid-back and wear these vans sneakers instead (I love vans!). The bowtie bracelet also contributes to a more feminine look. Even though the weather was gloomy, a little rain doesn't stop me from enjoying a cute summer look!

Happy Summer everyone! I'm so excited for this time of year and with so many exciting things to do and amazing places to go, a great outfit is always good to keep in mind. During this time of year, prints are definitely in. When I think of summer, the first thing that pops into my mind is flowers blooming. This is why floral happens to be one of my absolute favorite prints. This type of print is timeless, classy, and gives off a flirty feel. One outfit that I love seeing florals on is a dress and that is why I adore this outfit so much. Because the main color of this dress is black, it allows the colors of the flowers to pop, which draws my attention. I also wanted to achieve more of a girly feel (my style can be very laid-back as well), so this outfit allows me to feel very sexy and flirty. This dress can also be worn with wedges or heels to achieve a taller look, but I decided to keep it comfortable and wear flat sandals. This dress is pretty versatile, so it can be worn from anywhere to the beach (a relaxed look) to a girls' night out (dressed up). Either way, this outfit is sure to leave a great impression. I can't believe that Summer is finally here! This is one of my absolute favorite times of the year because there is finally enough time to do everything you've ever wanted to do. Whether that's taking a road trip with your friends, hitting the beach, having cook-outs....the possibilities are endless!

One of the most popular staples this season is the high-low hem. This trend comes in many forms, including shirts, skirts, and dresses. My favorite happens to be the high-low hem skirt. I actually bought this skirt this past fall, but the style and color just screamed summer to me so I decided to save it until then.One of the things I love about this skirt is that it's loose and flowy, allowing me to be comfortable, especially on the warmer days. Also, since I'm petite, the high-low hem allows me to show off my legs, making me feel taller (even if it's just a little). I absolutely love the chic, feminine feel that this skirt gives. It's perfect for a day out with the girls or even a date night. I decided to pair this feather necklace with this outfit because I love the instant pop of pastel colors and feathers are always fun to work with, especially on a day like this.

I find it funny that before these photos were taken, it just finished raining. I guess it goes to show that after every storm the sun will smile :)
